Triangle Trip to Karnatka
Day 01: Arrive Bangalore
Upon arrival meet and assist by our representative and then transfer to your hotel. Check into your hotel and relax. Overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 02: Bangalore – Mysore
in the morning after breakfast visit Vidhan Soudha – building made out of granite, Cubbon Park, Botanical Gardens, and the great pubs and malls at M. G. Road. Then drive towards Mysore. Upon arrival check into your hotel and relax. Overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 03: Mysore
in the morning after breakfast starts your sightseeing of Mysore also known as the City of Palaces including the Mysore Palace, Chamundi hills a prominent landmark located at the outskirt of the city, St. Philomena’s Church, Jaganmohana Palace, Somanathapura and many more. Overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 04: Mysore-Srirangapatnam-Hassan
After breakfast, we will tour the Shri Ramachamarajendra Art Gallery. Located in the Jagmohan Palace, the art gallery has a valuable collection of Tanjore paintings and portraits of the royal family by Raja Ravi Verma. Visit St Philomena's Church, known for its gothic architecture. Drive towards Hassan en route visit Srirangapatnam. Upon arrival check in to your hotel & relax. Overnight at Hassan.
Day 05: Hassan – Belur – Halebid – Hassan
Morning after breakfast take an excursion to the Hoysala temples of Belur and Halebid. Halebid was the capital of the Hoysalas from the 11th century. Here we see the Hoysaleshwara temple built in 1125 AD.
Belur was also the Hoysala capital for some time. Here worth mentioning is the Chenna Kesava Vishnu temple from 1117AD built by the Hoysala kings. Evening return back to your hotel. Overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 06: Hassan- Sravanbelgola-Bangalore – Onwards Destination
After breakfast, drive to Bangalore, the "IT hub" of India. You will also visit the holy town of Sravanbelgola – the great centre for Jain pilgrimage in the south. The 20 mts high statue of Gomateshwar carved out of a single rock is very impressive on the way. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight back home.
