Backwaters of Kerala
Day 01: Arrive Cochin
In the morning after breakfast get ready to make your way back to Delhi from where you will board your flight to Cochin. Upon arrival you will be met and greeted then transfer to the hotel. Overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 02: Cochin – Munnar
In the morning after breakfast start your sightseeing of Cochin by visiting its natural harbor, Mattancherry or Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Chinese Fishing Nets etc. Then drive towards Munnar. Upon arrival check into your hotel and relax. Overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 03: Munnar
After breakfast spend the entire day at Munnar, visiting Pothamedu, Devikulam, Pallivasal, Attukal, Mattupetty Dam, and Echo-Point etc.
Post lunch sight seeing includes the Raja Malai - a top peak of Munnar where you can see Neel Thar (mountain goats). Witness tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers. Overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 04: Munnar – Periyar
Early morning after breakfast leave Munnar to Thekkady, enroute visit Idukki dam. Thekkady is famous for Periyar wildlife and Periyar Lake. Reach Thekkady check in to your hotel by afternoon. Evening explore tea-cardamom plantations. Overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 05: Periyar
Today full day will be free to explore the Periyar wildlife sanctuary by Boating through Periyar Lake. This will be ever-memorable one. Then evening will be free at leisure. Overnight will be at hotel.
Day 06: Periyar – Kumarakom – Houseboat
Early morning after breakfast proceed to Kumarakom famous for backwaters ride which are a unique product of Kerala and are found nowhere else in the world. Check into a traditional houseboat and go on a leisurely backwater cruise along the lake. A ride on the houseboat is a fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of the backwaters. Cruise through the backwaters to Allepey. Overnight will be at Houseboat.
Day 07: Houseboat – Allepey – Cochin – Onwards Destination
Today in the morning disembark your house boat and drive towards Cochin. On arrival you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight back home.
